The EDBR consists of three boards: the EDBR, the YoungEDBR and the IAB. All boards complement each other and make recommendations to the Municipal Executive through the management of the EDBR.
EDBR
The Economic Development Board Rotterdam (EDBR) is a platform comprised of more than thirty opinion-leaders from the business community and the educational, scientific and cultural sectors, together with the director(s) of the Rotterdam Development Corporation and the Port of Rotterdam. IAB
The International Advisory Board Rotterdam (IAB) is the international peer of the EDBR. The fifteen members of this advisory agency, former heads of government, CEO’s and academics from more than ten countries meet once a year in Rotterdam. They advise the Municipal Executive on opportunities for strengthening Rotterdam’s economic development based on their expertise and world-wide experience. The IAB serves as a sounding board for the Municipal Executive in issues related to international economic developments.
YoungEDBR

The YoungEDBR is made up of fifteen talented young entrepreneurs, students and young professionals. Since June 2006, this part of the EDBR is actively working on economic projects that make a significant contribution to the economic wellbeing and future of Rotterdams young generation. The Executive Committee
The Executive Committee, consisting of the chair, vice-chair and the general secretary, meets once a month and decides on proposals, activities and projects of the EDBR. It also makes recommendations to the Rotterdam Municipal Executive.
Team EDBR
The EDBR, the YoungEDBR and the IAB receive support from Team EDBR. In addition to process support, Team EDBR supports the three boards, task forces, project teams and individual members in the implementation of their activities.
